Georgia DUI Risk Reduction education in a respectful, welcoming setting. We’ll help you understand the process, prepare for class, and move forward with confidence.
Often called “DUI school,” Risk Reduction addresses alcohol, drugs, and driving. Confirm the course your court or DDS requires.
01
Complete your assessment
A screening assessment comes first and explores substance use and its effects on driving. Right Spirit will email your screening access link after your payment is confirmed. Complete the screening before class; submitting a registration request does not release screening access.
02
Attend the 20-hour course
Participate in all 20 hours of instructor-led sessions, in the scheduled order. Complete both components and course requirements successfully to receive your certificate.
STRAIGHTFORWARD PRICING
Know the cost up front.
Georgia sets the program fees. No payment is taken with your registration request. Once dates are confirmed, we’ll contact you with enrollment and payment instructions. Screening access is emailed after payment is confirmed.
We’re putting the final details in place. Share your preferred month and we’ll contact you with exact dates, session times, delivery format, and enrollment instructions.

A request records your interest; enrollment is confirmed after final scheduling and required paperwork. If you have a deadline, check that a confirmed class will meet it before making plans.
FEEL READY ON DAY ONE
A little preparation goes a long way.
Before class
Watch for Right Spirit’s scheduling and enrollment message.
Review your student agreement and attendance policies before enrolling.
After your payment is confirmed, look for your screening access email and complete the assessment before class. Assessments are valid for one year; a new conviction may require another assessment.
Set aside every session on your calendar and ask about any conflicts in advance.
If your class is on Zoom
We’ll confirm the delivery format before enrollment. For a live remote class, prepare a reliable connection, working camera and microphone, and a quiet space where you can participate without interruption.
Live remote instruction happens at scheduled times with an instructor; it is not a self-paced online course.
Be present for every session.
Arrive on time, sober, and ready to participate without distractions. Attend each session in order and in full. Late arrival, absence, or leaving early can mean restarting and additional fees. Review your agreement for cancellation, refund, and make-up terms before you commit.
HELPFUL ANSWERS
Less uncertainty. More clarity.
Is Right Spirit approved by Georgia DDS?
Right Spirit is approved for DUI Risk Reduction. Our launch schedule is being finalized. Check the DDS school directory for certification information. Our separate Driver Improvement program is still pending approval.
Can I register before exact dates are announced?
Yes. Use the registration request form to share your name, email, phone, and preferred month. We’ll follow up when the schedule is ready. You won’t be asked to pay through this form.
Is DUI Risk Reduction the same as Defensive Driving?
No. They serve different requirements. Confirm which course you need with the organization requesting it before enrolling.
When will I receive my screening access link?
Right Spirit will email your screening (assessment) access link after your payment is confirmed. Registration alone does not release screening access. For now, submit your preferred month at no charge; when dates are finalized, we’ll contact you with enrollment and payment instructions. Complete the screening before class.
How will I receive my class materials and joining details?
Right Spirit will provide workbook arrangements and class joining details as part of confirmed enrollment. These are separate from your screening access link. Keep an eye on your email, including your spam folder.
What happens after I finish?
After you successfully meet all program requirements, DDS guidance calls for your certificate within one business day and no later than 48 hours. Keep it for your records; additional court or license requirements may apply.
What if I need to cancel or miss a session?
Contact Right Spirit as soon as a conflict arises. Refund, rescheduling, and make-up arrangements follow your student agreement. Review those terms before enrolling.
Can I transfer an assessment or replace a lost certificate?
Ask Right Spirit before enrolling or transferring. DDS limits assessment transfers to certain circumstances. For a replacement certificate, contact the school you attended. See DDS guidance ↗
What if my requirement is from another state?
Confirm acceptance with the requesting state or court before enrolling. Start with the Georgia DDS FAQs and ask your referring agency about your situation.
Is the class assessment a clinical evaluation?
A clinical evaluation is a separate service. If one has been requested, confirm the requirements with your referring agency. Georgia DBHDD oversees clinical evaluation and treatment services.
